Resume

Rahel's extensive career finds her performing music in a variety of musical ensembles, groups, bands and combos in a variety of settings. She has founded non-profit organizations in support of music, movement and the arts for people of all ages, from six-week old infants to seniors.

Since the year 2000, Rahel has assumed positions as a Songleader/Cantorial Soloist assisting Rabbis in worship and varied spiritual activities, as well as teaching Hebrew & Jewish Studies.

Since 1997, Rahel has been engaged in the study and practice of music as a unique and powerful form of energy medicine that supports mind-body-spirit healing, transformation and transition. More recently she has become immersed in the study of Jewish Healing.

Rahel is an expert on Music Education for Young Children. She conducts workshops and teacher training seminars, and serves as a music education consultant by request.

In addition to performing and teaching, Rahel serves musically in therapeutic settings including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, senior residences, hospices, and special needs facilities; and facilitates meditative, experiential, and interactive concerts, programs, and sessions at retreats, conferences, educational facilities, a variety of health-related environments, and faith and interfaith communities in the USA and abroad.
